Chess Olympiad in Dubrovnik, Yugoslavia, the Serbian sculptor Petar Poček crafted an exquisite set of chess pieces in 1950, featuring smooth curves, distinctive capped bishops, and elegantly unique knights unlike the conventional Staunton Elgin marbles style.
