Chetak was the famous horse of Maharana Pratap, whom Pratap rode during the Haldighati, June 21, 1576. Chetak laid down his life in this battle and since then has been immortalized in the folklore of India. The Indian Chetak Series is our humble tribute to the faithful and courageous horse Chetak. This superlative chess set "The Indian Chetak II" in Staunton pattern, is made of ebony wood and boxwood. The King proudly stands at 4.3 inches and its base is a robust 1.9 inches. Dark chess pieces are exquisitely crafted in Ebony wood.
