Reproduced 1958 ANRI Space Age Chess Pieces by Arthur Elliott in Sheesham & Box Wood - 4.25" King

Exquisitely crafted in sheesham & boxwood, this reproduction chess set is the exact reproduction of the set designed by US artist Arthur Elliott for ANRI, Italy in the 1958. Interestingly the design of this chess set is inspired by "Space age concept". Chess pieces looks like a rockets, sputniks, and satellites. Each chess piece represent a "Space Age" idea, king looks like a space station, queen > space ship, bishop > missile, knight > satellite, rook > radar and pawn > rocket. Quality of chess pieces are top-notch and pleasure to hold, king is 4.25" high with a base diameter of 1.3". All chess pieces are with green felt base pads.

Weight :  680grams approx. (23.98 oz). Please note that the weight in the set is added manually so the final weight of the set can vary by plus or minus (±) 10%.
