Special thanks to "Stephen Kong A.K.A. Chess Praxis" for his exceptional efforts in making this dream chess set a reality

The 7th Chess Olympiad (Swedish: Den 7:e Schackolympiad), organized by the FIDE and comprising an open and (unofficial) women's tournament, as well as several events designed to promote the game of chess, took place between July 31 and August 14, 1937, in Stockholm, Sweden.A 'Swedish club set' from 1931, which was also the model used in the Stockholm Olympiad in 1937 (see the photo of GMs Isaac Kashdan and Gösta Stoltz in action, this game decided the match – Stoltz was winning but lost control of the game in time-trouble and Kashdan scored an important point for the US team, ensuring a 2½:1½ win). If I'm not mistaken this is one of two similar sets designed by Gustaf Nyholm (Sweden's strongest player in the first couple of decades of the 20th century).
