Features: The American Bridle triple-weighted chess pieces offers a 4.2" King and base diameter of 1.7".  Each of the chess pieces has thick green felt on their bases. The chess pieces are made in Bud Rosewood and the lighter chess pieces are made in Boxwood.

Weight: 1794 grams (63.28 oz) Please note that the weight in the set is added manually so the final weight of the set can vary by plus or minus (±) 10%.

The opposing pieces are made of boxwood which is traditionally used for the white side. It is one of the fairly easy woods to work with and shows off aesthetic detail. The set comes with free extra queens for effortless pawn promotion. All chess pieces are expertly carved and heavily weighted for fantastic hand-feel and a very nice thud on the wooden chess board. Chess pieces have unique collar rings and thick green felts, which precisely envelops the base of each chess men for smooth movement on the chess board. The knights are well-crafted and represent the highest grade of knight carving skills that our Indian artisans have to offer.

Design & Quality: Handcrafted in India, these chess pieces are triple-weighted making them very stable on board and a pleasure to touch and feel. Each piece is meticulously turned and hand carved by our master craftsmen and then we buff polish each piece by hand to give a beautiful and long lasting shine. Green felt on the bases of the pieces protect the chess board and add beauty to the pieces. The design, quality and craftsmanship of these chess pieces is unmatched.
