Epic is Back: 1st generation Shera series chess pieces were the archetype of perfection in our luxury series. This Staunton chess set, made from ebony and boxwood, features a 4.5-inch King with a 1.9-inch base. The dark pieces, crafted from rare ebony, are ideal for luxury sets.;

Chess Pieces Weight: 2000 grams approx. (70.54 oz). Please note that the weight in the set is added manually so the final weight of the set can vary by plus or minus (±) 10%.

The white pieces are crafted from boxwood, known for its carving ease and beauty. The set includes extra queens for pawn promotion. Each piece is expertly carved, well-weighted, and features collar rings and green felt for smooth movement. The knights highlight the exceptional skill of our Indian artisans.

Craftsmanship: The knight's carving is spectacular, especially around the mane and nostrils. The entire set is meticulously handcrafted from the finest ebony and polished by hand for a rich, lasting shine. Each piece, crafted in India, features intricate details, with quality and craftsmanship comparable to luxury chess sets costing $1000+ from other retailers.

Uniformity of pieces: The turned pieces, guided by metal profiles, are identical, especially the pawns. However, slight variations may occur in hand-carved or cut pieces.i.e. knights.
