*Except for books & some chess accessories, where there is a nominal shipping fee.

We try our best to ship out your orders the same day, your payment is confirmed. However, please allow us 24-36 hours for processing of your order, as we do not ship out on weekends or on holidays. Our shipping partners will depend on two factors, the item you choose and the country where you want the item to be shipped. For most of our items shipped to US, UK, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, France, Spain we use DHL/FedEx expedited which takes 6 working days and for Asia, Africa and South America and rest of the world we ship by Standard Post Parcel Airmail which may take anywhere between 15-25 days.

What about warranty and hidden costs (sales tax, GST etc)?

UK: We take VAT when you will place the order with us. You don't have to pay any tax or customs duties when you will receive the parcel.

Europe: We take VAT/Taxes when you will place the order with us. You don't have to pay any tax or customs duties when you will receive the parcel.

Canada/Mexico: We take VAT/Taxes when you will place the order with us. You don't have to pay any tax or customs duties when you will receive the parcel.

India: There are no extra taxes, hidden costs or additional shipping charges. The price mentioned on the website is the final price. What you see is what you pay. Our prices are all-inclusive.

Australia/NZ: There are no extra taxes, hidden costs or additional shipping charges. The price mentioned on the website is the final price. What you see is what you pay. Our prices are all-inclusive.

Rest of the World: The VAT/taxes is decided by the Govt. authorities. chessbazaar is not responsible to collect or reimerse those fee collected by the authorities. Kindly check with your local authorities.

Note: In specific cases like Imperfect items or drop shipping the additional charges will have to be borne by the customer. These fees are paid to your local carrier or government and are not collected by Chess Bazaar.

How will I know that my order has shipped?

You will receive a confirmation e-mail with a tracking number once your order has been shipped.  

Does chessbazaar.com ship internationally?

Yes, we do ship internationally. In fact, we are the only company that provides FREE Shipping* on chess sets all over the globe. Our systems recognize the currency of your country and you get the prices of our items in your local currency. You can select the currency of your choice too if you want. However, if your favored currency is not available in the list and you want us to add your country’s currency, please drop us a mail at sales@chessbazaar.com

How long will my order take to arrive?

The orders parcels to the shipping addresses which fall under remote area delivery with DHL/FedEx will be shipped by Indian standard post.

For most of our items shipped to North America, UK, Australia, Germany, Italy, France, Spain we use DHL/FedEx expedited which takes 4 - 6 working days and for New Zealand, Asia, Africa and South America and rest of the world we ship by Standard Post Parcel Airmail which may take anywhere between 15-25 days.
