I was born into a chess-playing family and my passion for the game bred a love for beautiful chess sets. Back in the pre-internet days, there was nothing available in the Philippines except the bamboo variety. I used to draw the kind of sets I wished to own.
Then the internet came. I thought owning a beautiful set was downright impractical, until I came across Chessbazaar. My favourite is my latest acquisition, the Circa 1870-1900.
