If I close my eyes, I can travel back to 1979 — the year I was first exposed to chess. Thirty-seven years later, I still enjoy the game with the same level of excitement. As a parent, I also had the wonderful experience of teaching my own son to play.
I had never owned a luxury set before finding Chessbazaar. The Arabian Knight design called out my name — the flared castle tops, the hand-carved Knight's mane. Having played it for a year, it has only increased my joy.
For me and my son — we share time together by setting up a board, pouring a hot cup of coffee, and enjoying some friendly competition over the timeless game of chess.
