Features: Repro William Hallett Chess Pieces weighted chess pieces offers a 4.0" King with a diameter of 1.6" and all chess pieces are Double Weighted by adding a stud of iron within the base. Each of the chess pieces have thick green felt on their bases. The dark chess pieces are made of Golden Dyed wood and the lighter chess pieces are made of Boxwood.

Cutest Chocolate chess pieces

In addition to the very attractive price, everything previously said is correct.\nThese chess pieces are really ""à croquer"" as the chocolate color is so...Hummmm! Delicious.\n\nThe perfect chess for gourmands chess players ;)\n\n(And as usual: transport and packaging are perfect)

Tremendous Value!

I can't imagine getting a better chess set for the price. I bought this primarily for the tulip style bishops - but the knights shine here too. The dark pieces are a deep chocolate and look distinctive on the board. The pieces are nicely weighted, not too heavy and fun to use. Throw in safe packing and super fast shipping and this Hallett inspired set is all I could ask for.

Lovely Set

As usual, the craftsmanship is excellent---even better than the photographs. The pieces are very well weighted, and the detail of the carving is extraordinary. The price was unbeatable, and the shipping (though free) was extremely fast indeed (three days to the United States). I'd wholeheartedly recommend Chessbazaar to anyone who appreciates fine chess pieces.

Impressive Designed Pieces and Finsih

A very impressive set in all respects. The workmanship that went into these finely turned pieces is amazing. The design of each piece is elegant to say the least. Each piece is a work of art. A refreshing variation of the Staunton design. One nice feature of the set is its awesome looking wide base pieces. Another is the fantastic finish which appears to be brown and natural Lacquered boxwood. I think this finish would look fabulous on other sets offered by Chess Bazaar.and In their particular the 3.6"" and 4"" Dubrovnik sets. I can't tell you enough how please I am with this magnificent set. You won't be disappointed if you buy this set.

How are items packaged?

All items are carefully packaged in our warehouses - so as to avoid any form of damage. We take great pride in our packaging which ensures the package is water proof with plastic wrap and fragile items are safely secured with bubble wrap.

Seller Error: If we made a mistake, such as sending the wrong or incomplete item, please let us know right away and we will gladly send the correct item in exchange whenever possible at no additional cost to you.(Wrong or incomplete items claim must be made within 48 hours of delivery of the item.)
