Features: The Bridle Knight Series weighted chess pieces offers a 4.0" King with a diameter of 1.7" and all chess pieces are double weighted by adding a stud of iron within the base. Each of the chess pieces have thick green felt on their bases. The dark chess pieces are made of Sheesham Wood and the lighter chess pieces are made of Boxwood.

Very nice pieces

I must admit I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of theses chess pieces. I was not sure what to expect when ordering sight unseen from a foreign country. The fit and finish was far beyond what I expected, I have been shopping for chess pieces for a chess board and table I built, and I did not want some run of the mill plastic pieces. These are top quality and the delivery to my home in the USA from India was only two days. Unbelievable!

I have ordered several sets and each one comes meticulously wrapped and packaged. The set is very well crafted and a wonderful value for the money. Customer service with Chess Bazaar is top notch. Highly recommend.

Excellent pieces and packing

Unbelievable packing and shipping speed. Each piece individually bubble wrapped and then everything bubble wrapped in a plastic container. Can survive any handling during shipping. Four days from India to Canada. Unfortunately Canada Customers was convinced the pieces were worth more than the stated value, which is probable try and that is why I bought them from here!, so there was a delay with customs releasing them.\n\nThe pieces are beautifully finished, nice and heavy and do look exactly like the pictures.\n\nVery pleased all around.

Great set for the price.

Very pleased with the feel, look, and weight of the pieces. The unique highly detailed knights though are a bit rougher and less polished than the rest of the pieces. They could be sanded, varnished and polished a little more. I am not used to the queen being the same height as the bishops and would prefer it to be slightly taller but otherwise this is a set which I am proud to own and use.

For me the knight is usually the decisive note in the set. In addition to its wild look, this one has rugged heavy touch.\n\nColour is more like standard brown, and like in the picture, the set is billiard cloth felted.\n

How are items packaged?

All items are carefully packaged in our warehouses - so as to avoid any form of damage. We take great pride in our packaging which ensures the package is water proof with plastic wrap and fragile items are safely secured with bubble wrap.

Seller Error: If we made a mistake, such as sending the wrong or incomplete item, please let us know right away and we will gladly send the correct item in exchange whenever possible at no additional cost to you.(Wrong or incomplete items claim must be made within 48 hours of delivery of the item.)
Defective items: If you receive an item with a manufacturer's defect, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order to arrange for a replacement.
