Features : The Bridle Series weighted chess pieces offers a 4.8" King with a diameter of 1.8" and all chess pieces are triple weighted by adding stud of iron in the base. The chess pieces are felted with thick green felt on the base of every chessmen. The dark side is made of Ebony Wood and the lighter side is made of Boxwood.

Design & Build Quality : All the chess pieces bases are hand-selected thick green felt that feels luxurious & also gives the better stability. The thick green felt precisely envelops the base of chessmen. Thick green felt also help to protect the finish & surface of the chess board from scratches, which is why we crafted it as passionately as we did. The chess pieces are beautifully crafted in ebony wood & boxwood. Ebony wood will give you luxurious touch & premium feel in your hand.

Beautiful Chess Pieces

Super fast shipping, India to Australia 4 days.\n\nVery well packed, bomb proof. \n\nBeautiful, classic design, not too fussy, just right. The right amount of carved detail without being overdone. \n\nFelt is thin and cheapish, and often poorly applied. But I’m being picky. It’s acceptable, not a deal breaker by any means. \n\nPieces are large. Ideally, you will need a 60mm square chess board. \n\nWhen it comes to weight the boxwood pieces are on the light side, they lack heft. The ebony pieces are somewhat heavier as one would expect since ebony is a heavier denser wood. But even so, not super heavy. Again, not a deal breaker, but I have my doubts that the pieces are triple weighted. \n\nThere are the usual fine nicks and scratches (tool marks) that all these chess piece sets tend to have. But you have to look hard to find them. \n\nAll in all, beautiful, classy, large pieces. The queen is taller than some of the kings one finds in larger sets. It’s really a very generous size. The bishops too are really quite tall. Taller than some queens you will encounter in the larger sets. \n\nI paid AUD$255 (US$165) including express shipping. This was on sale. Unbeatable price!!! You will not find any set of this quality in Ebony for cheaper. \n\nBuy it before it disappears, it won’t last long at this price. \n\n

All items are carefully packaged in our warehouses - so as to avoid any form of damage. We take great pride in our packaging which ensures the package is water proof with plastic wrap and fragile items are safely secured with bubble wrap.
