This beautiful Board is made of Bud Rosewood on darker side and Maple on the lighter side. This sale is for the Chess Board alone and the pieces are NOT INCLUDED with the set.

The size of the Board is (23" x 23") / (58.4 cm x 58.4 cm) with square size of (2.4" x 2.4") / (60 mm x 60 mm). The Board is 22 mm thick. The weight of the Chess Board is 5500 grams (194 oz).

This is the second WOODEN CHESS BOARD ROUNDED EDGE BLOOD RED BUD ROSE WOOD 23"" - 60 MM that I have ordered. the quality is superb for both of the boards. I am so pleased I have, as a novice chess player, found ChessBazaar. \n\n

Brilliant red!

I purchased with a huge discount, I have to say that the red squares are really as you see in Chessbazaar photo, under any perspective, differently from bud rose chess pieces that are red only when hitten well from the light, otherwise are more brown (even if are unique and beautiful anyway).\nThe first chessboard from Chessbazaar and the best one I have! Absolutely reccomended if you have bud rose pieces!!

Splendid solid and massive chess board. It is perfect for my bud rose French Warrior chess pieces, the whole set will be turning head not only because of its size, but also because of its style.

Perfect board for large bud rose pieces and beautiful with any pieces

My favorite pieces are my Ferocious Elite bud rose. I have a board for large pieces such as these, but nothing that really made a matched set. This board does it. I was fortunate to get it on sale, but on sale or not it was just what I wanted and needed.

I think I have picked up the most beautiful chess board Chess Bazaar offers. Well, all the chess boards are beautiful, there is a beauty for everyone, depending upon the personal taste. The most impressive thing for me is how the Company manages to safely deliver delicate products around the Globe. It indeed means knowledge and skills, and probably a lot of experience. Altogether, the product (material, handcrafting, colors...), the packing and the care of the Chess Bazaar personnel about the customers are unique.

This board is beautiful. The color of the rosewood is very red and lighter than the color of their rosewood pieces, which is perfect. I was concerned about shipping, having received a damaged board from another dealer. But, their packaging was amazing. Have no fear on ordering from them.

Looks amazing in its vivid red. Was deciding between this and the Rex Noir discipline 55cm board (bud rosewood), but after comparing dimensions decided CB provided the better value with the cheaper AND bigger board. Arrived very promptly today and was well packaged.

My one issue was with the boxwood\nking where the finial was not attached. Tried to glue back on,\nslightly crooked. Hole not drilled well. Company notified and expect to receive replacement king. How are items packaged?

All items are carefully packaged in our warehouses - so as to avoid any form of damage. We take great pride in our packaging which ensures the package is water proof with plastic wrap and fragile items are safely secured with bubble wrap.

Seller Error: If we made a mistake, such as sending the wrong or incomplete item, please let us know right away and we will gladly send the correct item in exchange whenever possible at no additional cost to you.(Wrong or incomplete items claim must be made within 48 hours of delivery of the item.)
Defective items: If you receive an item with a manufacturer's defect, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order to arrange for a replacement.
