One of our best sellers, this beautiful Desert Gold Staunton Pattern chess set is made up of Sheesham Wood on darker side and box wood on the lighter side. The sale is for complete set of 34 pieces (2 Extra Queens). Chess pieces have thick green felts which precisely envelops the base of each chess men for smooth movement on the chess board. Chess pieces are meticulously handcrafted from the finest grade wood and polished by hand to give it a rich and long-lasting shine.

Lovely set

Love the set, not a fan of died figures and always prefer to have the plain wood grain like in this case. Figures are nicely sized and hefty weight. Picked this one up because I liked the knights details and was not disappointed when they arrived in person!

Very good bargain

I just received this chess set today. The shipping and delivery was VERY swift. The set is simple and ""humble"" but it is a perfect ""budget"" set for any club or tournament player. It costs just a little bit more than a good plastic set. I did not find any defect, so I am a satisfied customer. :-)

Very pleased with this as an everyday/travel set. Looks and plays very nice. The extra queens are a little uneven at the base as the weight is probably not flush with the bottom. Not a big deal, as I rarely need the 2nd ones. There is a tiny glue spot on the white kings finial. But over all the quality is very good at a great price point. The plastic box that they came in was cracked, but the well wrapped pieces were fine. Delivery in 3 days from India to U.S.!\nThank you for my nice new chess set!!

Packing can be better

Got the product in 3 days by FedEx, not bad as the item is coming from India to Italy. But the packing could have been better. It was a gift but I had to repack the set as quality of packing was poor.

All items are carefully packaged in our warehouses - so as to avoid any form of damage. We take great pride in our packaging which ensures the package is water proof with plastic wrap and fragile items are safely secured with bubble wrap.
