Exceptional workmanship

I recently purchased the Fierce Knight Staunton Chess Pieces in Bud Rosewood, and they've exceeded my expectations. The craftsmanship is excellent, with beautifully carved knights that really stand out and give the set a premium look. The Bud Rosewood has a rich, elegant grain, and each piece feels solid and well-balanced in hand. They glide smoothly across the board and are a pleasure to play with during longer games. The finish is polished without being overly glossy, and the attention to detail is impressive. If you're looking for a quality Staunton set that combines classic design with exceptional workmanship, I would definitely recommend these pieces.

Perfect Choice

I liked this set so much that I had gotten a second set in Bud Rosewood and also other versions. This is a quality Staunton style set, heavily weighted and well crafted, and at a very economical price. And with perfect, amazing knights that are a pleasure to pick up and move.

Perfect Staunton Style Set

The bud rosewood color is awesome. This set was perfectly crafted and top quality. A perfect choice for a Staunton style set and perfect for eitger casual or tournament play.

Beautiful, functional, and practical set

This is a practical set for those who want a quality, well-weighted, standard wood Staunton design that is both very beautiful and economical. It is well suited for tournament play. The bud rosewood is a beautiful wood, making this set a pleasure to play with, sturdy without delicate parts, and won't break the bank.

Very beautiful set!

I've purchased the rosewood and boxwood set.\nThe incarving work is great, the grain of the rosewood is really superb. Incredible cost/quality value. The set fit great with a 60x60mm square chessboard.\nThe packaging was perfect. Each piece singolarly wrapped with soft plastic film, with grat care to the kings's crosses.\nThe shipment was quickly 6 days from India to Italy.

Diseño hermoso

Es conjunto genial, el diseño y color madera Bud Rose son inigualables por ese precio. Sin duda hermoso conjunto.

Beautiful and functional set!

What has mostly impressed me is the balance and color of the chessmen. Computer programs may not replace the pleasure of touching such pieces, perfectly crafted, with love and understanding what the customers are looking for. Keep going that way, there is always a room for improvement dear Chess Bazaar!

Great quality!

Easy shopping. This is my second set from chessbazaar. Again super fast shipping took only 3 days to USA. Then my courier bring them to Guatemala. \n\nBud rosewood seem a little orangish. I expected the color to be darker. Nevertheless they look nice and have a great feel. Yes, they are heavy. \n\nThank you for great quality worth the price. \n\nJeffrey - Guatemala, C.A.

Surprisingly quick delivery! Excellent deal.

Chessbazaar is my favorite chess store.

FLAMBOYANT RED

The set I received is consistent in its reddish color. Its consistency exceeded my expectations, the redness left me breathless. The nuances range varies with the degree of diurnal and nocturnal light, remembering that the angle of the observer with respect to the light source is also a variable that affects our perception. During the sunny day, the pieces exhibit a splendid orange tone; as dies the day and natural light diminishes, the orange hue becomes dark red, just like blood without oxygen. Some of the reddish pieces have veins very close to black, but that does not diminish their beauty, but quite the opposite. In short, my red pieces are delightfully mesmerizing (I especially like the steed face). Of course, boxwood pieces are the complement.\n \nAlthough my set has minor differences from the set of the photo (a narrower pedestal at the unión with the bust of the knight; a narrower bishop's miter; the upper body of queen and king also narrower, except their bases), such differences are secondary, because that beautiful and flamboyant RED compensates for everything else.\n
